Shaunice Henderson has served as an Early Childhood Special Educator, Behavior Specialist ,Teacher  Mentor/Coach and Author of a series of alphabet books created for young readers with a focus on children with  Special Educational Needs, making the books interesting, and beneficial for ALL early readers. 

 

Shaunice's 22 years of experience in Early Childhood Education primarily focusing on Early Intervention and creating accessible and developmentally appropriate educational materials, has led her to share these educational treasures with families, teachers, and caregivers.

Shaunice holds a Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood  / Special Education from Bowie State University and a Masters of Science in Special Education with a concentration in Assistive Technology  from Johns Hopkins University. She has been the recipient of multiple awards recognizing her excellence in Education including Teacher of the Year and Excellence in Special Education Award.
